1966
Birth
Born in Vakkom, Kerala, India.
1975 (Age 9)
The Beginning of Kalaripayattu
Began formal training in the ancient martial art of Kalaripayattu, laying the foundation for a lifelong journey in physical discipline, healing, and spirituality.
1981 (Age 15)
Karate Training
Started training in Karate. Later earned the prestigious Black Belt, becoming an accomplished martial artist.
1984
Boxing & Classical Dance
Began training in boxing.
Commenced formal training in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi, embracing India’s rich artistic traditions.
1985
State Boxing Champion
Won the State Boxing Championship, marking a significant achievement in competitive sports.
1987
Founder – CAMA
Founded Caravan’s Arts and Martial Arts Academy (CAMA), a correctional and social service initiative to train children in traditional Indian arts, martial arts, discipline, and values.
These formative years of rigorous physical training and artistic exploration laid a strong foundation for his future path.
1989
Journey to Oman
Moved to the Sultanate of Oman for professional opportunities as a martial arts and yoga instructor.
1992
Professional Recognition
Became a well-established and highly sought-after yoga instructor and Marma healer in Oman, earning recognition for his expertise in health, martial arts and yoga.
While achieving professional success, deeper existential questions began to arise within him.
1993
The Awakening
Witnessing the suffering, illness, and death of wealthy and influential individuals despite their material success sparked profound questions: What is death? What lies beyond death? Can death be conquered? These questions became the turning point that redirected his life’s purpose toward spiritual exploration.
1994
Return to India & Meeting the Guru
Returned to India in search of a true spiritual master. Found his Guru, Shivajyothi Dharmananda, received Deeksha and was initiated into the sacred path of Srividya Upasana.
1994–1997
Years of Tapas
Spent nearly 3.5–4 years in seclusion, performing intense meditation, tapas (spiritual austerities), and yogic practices in the forests under the guidance of his Guru.
1997
Entering Family Life
Entered Grihastha Ashrama (family life), integrating spiritual wisdom with worldly responsibilities.
With spiritual grounding firmly established, he began to re-engage with the world in a new way.
1999
Return to Oman
Returned to Oman to continue his professional journey while carrying his newly acquired spiritual knowledge.
2000
Muscat Ayurveda & Yoga
Founded Muscat Ayurveda & Yoga, integrating Ayurveda, Yoga, and holistic healing for the international community.
2002
The Vision
Experienced the first divine vision of a serene healing village set amidst nature. The vision recurred repeatedly, revealing the future home of what would later become Indimasi Healing Village.
2005
The Land is Found
Located and purchased the very land he had repeatedly seen in his visions at Poovathoor, Nedumangad, Kerala.
2005–2015
Sharing Ancient Wisdom Worldwide
Travelled extensively across the globe conducting consultations, lectures, workshops and healing sessions in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Ethiopia, United Kingdom, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and several other nations.
As his global work expanded, the vision of a dedicated healing space continued to take shape.
2010
Swasthy Ayurveda
Established Swasthy Ayurveda at Kudappanakunnu, Thiruvananthapuram. Here he began integrating the concept of Total Healing, treating both the body and mind with equal importance. This clinic continues today as the city branch of Indimasi Healing Village.
2015
Construction Begins
Construction commenced on the 15-acre Indimasi Healing Village at Poovathoor. Every structure was designed around the philosophy of the ancient self-sustaining Indian village blended with modern comforts and holistic healthcare.
2019
Indimasi Healing Village Opens
Indimasi Healing Village officially became operational, integrating Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga, Kalaripayattu, Marma Therapy, organic farming, spiritual practices and holistic living.
2021
Indimasi Yoga Foundation
Founded the Indimasi Yoga Foundation, a charitable trust conducting blood donation camps, health workshops, medical camps and awareness programmes.
2022
Indimasi Safe Homes
Launched Indimasi Safe Homes for senior citizens seeking healthy, independent living within the Indimasi campus.
Today
A Living Legacy
Guru Yogishivan continues to guide thousands through his philosophy of Total Healing. Under his leadership, Indimasi Healing Village has welcomed more than 1,600 guests from over 50 countries.
